Conversion & Refurbishment
Burnham Market

The historic Grade II listed property, 29 Market Place in Bunrham Market, was originally a residential house dating back to the early 19th century. In its life time it has undergone a number of uses and alterations. Its most recent use was as a retail space at ground floor and a residential apartment at first floor. The property has only seen 3 owners in over 110 years. The new owner, Tim Roberts, looked to reinvigorate and re-imagine the property as a new bar and restaurant in the heart of Burnham Market.

A full refurbishment of the property utilising traditional methods and the addition of an orangery style extension to the rear has transformed the space to one of the ‘go to’ establishments in West Norfolk. Every effort was made to preserve, expose and reinstate historical features, so much so that an original early 20th century timber sash window recovered on site was re-instated to the principal elevation.
